Burning Heart

Last night, as I was struggling with picking songs for this Sunday, my heart was pounding and I was feeling so anxious I don't know why. I know that I don't have to worry so much about which song would bring more presence of God to the crowd, I just needed to get together a simple set and He will do the rest. When I was driving back to LA for RJ practice, I was praying. I prayed that God would show up during practice, and suddenly for some reason I prayed for the fear of the Lord to fall upon churches. It's random I know. However, I think it has to do with what I read about in a magazine a few days ago...

Ever since Jesus Culture Reddings I've been overwhelmed by the "urgency". The feeling is getting stronger and stronger everyday, and I know that Jesus is coming very soon. It's as crazy and as real as a slap on the face. Two days ago, me and my roommate saw a magazine titled "WORLD WOULD END ON THANKSGIVING DAY!" Subtitled: "Hidden in the Bible: God's Final Warning to Mankind." We were curious and bought the magazine back to read it through. It's basically saying that from the three passages in the Bible (2 Cor. 4:14-16; Philippians 4:5-7; Jeremiah 30:18-20), they were able to decode the hidden message with computer. The message goes, "Thanksgiving Day 2008... end of world... without warning... sinners burn in Hell in Satan... dead will rise... new world... return of Christ... glory be to God."

Now, a few pages afterwards, another article talked about a man's vision/trance of angelic encounter of heaven visitation. The man's name is Wovoka, he saw the heaven and the angels told him that "humankind had one more great war to face. That battle would occur in the 21st century and it would truly be the war to end all wars. After that, peace would reign eternally on Earth. Also, by a miracle, God will solve the problems that are plaguing the environment and restore Earth to the purity and splendor she once enjoyed. There would be enough food for everyone to eat - no one would go to bed hungry again." After reading these two articles, I remembered what Jack has shared with us 2 years ago about Christ's return. He said based on sources, Christ is predicted to come back in two thousand something. Do you feel the urgency yet?? (If you don't feel it, let me know and I'll pray for you.)

What I thought after reading these prophetic articles was, how accurate are the articles I don't know, but what I know is, Christ is coming back soon and I have a school, a bunch of friends, and family members to save!! People say, "Oh it's good to have the urgency inside of you. Good for you!" No! That's not it!! It's not just "good" to have the urgency of the little time before Christ's return, for lost to be saved, for the way to be prepared for the Lord. It should be a essential part that's embedded inside the heart of every sons and daughters of the King! I cannot stress the importance of the "urgency" more.
Ps. The purpose for posting these articles is to encourage and give people more motivation to go out there to spread the gospel. Not here to scare off anyone ok?

Healing revivalists, prophetic revivalists, or any kinds of revivalists need to constantly recharge their battery. With the "authority" that's always there for us to back us up, however, without a tight relationship with the "authority", how can we walk in power and do all these kinds of evangelism? YOU ARE A REVIVALIST! That's why you need to spend time with the Lord everyday and develop intimacy relationship with Him. I'm challenging myself to spend at least one hour with the Lord everyday in the morning. I have class at 8am or 9am every morning, you can count back and see what time my alarm clock would go off. Lol, not that easy! However, God is faithful. He has been waking me up every morning at the time I set the alarm. Thank you Lord! Also, going back to write my spiritual journal everyday... or at least try to write it everyday.

Las Vegas has the "Burning Man". We are consumed by and are the "Burning Hearts". Behind each burning heart, there should exist an awareness and confirmation of God's unconditional, everlasting, and perfect love. It is which that roots the ground of all work done in His Name so we don't get burnt out or commit spiritual suicide. (More of this is elaborated in Jaeson Ma's blog.)

Currently working on... Carmen.
She's a cashier who works at Ride Aid in Riverside. She has experienced a tremendous car accident in January. It was her and her fiance in the car, the entire car flipped and totaled. None of them died. The man was able to walk out without any injury and Carmen, the driver, had her left elbow bone stuck out of her arm. However, now she can use her arm normally. There is a huge and ugly scar left on her arm, and it is not going away. When me and my roommate first saw her, we prayed for her and told of God's mercy and love on her. She said she believes there has to be somebody up there watching over them, it was a miracle that they were both alive. We prayed for her wound, and her work. It is me and Karen's desire and urge to bring her to Christ and get her baptized. Last night, we went to Ride Aid again, and this time Carmen gave us her cell# and home#. Now it's easier to reach her and do "caring network". Wahaha! We told her that we're looking for jobs and she got us applications, and it was during the time that we waited for the application that we spotted the prophetic magazine. Anyhow, after Carmen explained to us how to apply and who to talk to, I saw the manager, his name is Sean, and his left index finger has a cast on it. I asked him what happened and he said it's dislocated from an accident last week. I was about to ask him if I could pray for him, but he looks mad or irritated, and he was waiting to talk to Carmen, so we didn't pray for him right then. However, we prayed for them both when we got into the car. Everyone please pray for Carmen, and the Ride Aid store. I believe that God will do amazing things in that store! God is good!

Hang in there

Supernatural on Campus was fun. I've learned about most of the materials before, from Jaeson's previous conference and Jesus Culture. However, there's always something new to learn every time, even if you've heard the message before. Conferences are like energy boosts. They get you all hyped and pumped up to go all out for Jesus. However, I'm ready to face challenges and tests from the devil because he knows I am about to go and shake my campus!! Wakakaka!!

At SOC (supernatural on campus), Benning and Jaeson both talked about the importance to do things out of LOVE. The second thing is... OBEY!! I have the first one, but the second one... I usually forget. For example, when I walk pass someone on a wheelchair, and Holy Spirit tells me to go and pray for that person, I might not go and pray for that person because I might be rushing to class or having some other excuses. That's when I'm not obeying God. I need to remember to oeby God!!! (ok that sounds weird..... = =)

Me and Alice prayed for one of the staffs, Michelle. Her left leg was missing... she said it's from birth. Also, her ears were infected with second degree of 熱病. (Don't know what's it called in english) We prayed for her, the first time... nothing... we prayed the second time... right ear popped and healed. We didn't continue to pray for her i dont know why. Grr... but then it's still healing! yay!! And, she told me about three main things that they teach their kids (she leads kids at church! wow) God You are amazing!<3

3. What's in heaven is on earth

R.I.P. Michael Kim

When I first saw the message from my inbox, I could not believe it. At all! I kept on thinking it HAS TO be a joke or some kind of a prank. But unfortunately no... how I wish it was a joke. He's not even saved yet God! It's weird, I wasn't that sad when I first found out (confirmed) that he passed away. I guess it's just because the fact that Michael is really gone hasn't hit me on the head yet. Just like my friend said, "It will hit you hard later... just wait." And it did. Today I got another message about his funeral info... that's when it hit me real hard and it feels like my heart's being stabbed repeatedly for thousands of times. I did not cry. What use can tears do when he's already gone? All I can do is pray hard for his soul and his family... The verse on my cup fits well in my prayers. "The God of hope fill you with all joy and peace." (Romans 15:13)

Michael was the first of my good friends that passed away. I don't plan to see another one gone without being saved. Urgency to evangelize crawled into my heart and boiled my blood. TIME! TIME! IS TICKING BY!! When the rain starts falling, it's too late... it's too late.....

• Went to a Jrock underground gig with Jane on Friday night. Dressing up was hecka fun!! lol
• Took my rangers to the Santa Monica beach, and we made a huge "city"?? Well there were lots of tunnels and a big castle. haha We had loads of fun! ^____^

At the ministry meeting, MoMo presented her brand new strategy plan for WAVE. It was crazily well done! Really hit everyone that we need to take God's business more seriously now. It's life that we're managing... gee that sounds heavy. But i'm hyped up to do this!! Yeah!! Go Sala!!! Better go find songs for tonight's worship now... until next time! =)
