9:16am
Yesterday morning, I went to my 8am class as any other usual Mondays. Every time I go to the class I have to park at the pay-by-space parking lot, and it's $2.00 for an hour. I parked and just as I was about to go pay, someone asked me how long i was going to park there. I told him, till 9:16am. He said, Well I have to leave now, but I bought the space until 9:16am, would you like to take my spot? It's amazing. Coincident that the times matched? I think not!
11.50
OK. This is really stupid, cause I went to pick up my sister without knowing what "toll road" on my direction means... AND without much cash on me. I passed the first toll road, payed with almost all of my cash that's in my wallet and in my car. I went to the second one, knowing what a "toll road" from the first experience, with no money. However, the toll road station was closed, so I drove by. You all know what happens next,I got a letter this weekend. It's a violation from the toll road department. Duh. Guess how much do I have to pay now? $49.00 Can you believe this? I called the place and told them exactly what happened, and they deducted the penalty to $11.50 (This is exactly 10bucks more than the original payment of $1.5) Thank you God!
Ride-Aid
Last night, after studying with Karen and other friends, me and karen went to get some tea and coffee to prepare for another long and sleepless study night. We went to Ride-Aid and I got green tea bags, karen got coffee. At the cash register, I noticed there was this enormous scar on the cashier's left upper arm. It looks like the bones had poked through the flesh and torn everything open. I asked her what happened, as I expected, she went on and on about her car accident that happened in January. Don't get me wrong, I love detailed stories. ^^ The car was hit and flipped over. Her husband left without any injury, but her arm was left with a huge ugly scar. I asked her, if she knew Jesus, she knotted. So me and karen prayed for her, she was squeezing our hands real tightly, I think she was about to burst into tears. After we blessed her, we left the place. If it wasn't for the tea/coffee, we wouldn't meet Carmen and had the opportunity to have God speak through us to encourage her. I love you Lord!

Points earned in heaven
OK OK, here's a challenging game we can all play. You know how James talked about doing things in secret and earning points in heaven. Jesus also talked about how when you do those kinda stuffs you get rewards from God. Let's see how many points we can earn *secretly* everyday. Why not have a secret competition. ;) *Actually a competition within yourselves!* YEA YEA??? Record your points everyday and add them together by the end of the week see how many points u earned in heaven. This is more challenging than letting everyone know what you have done publicly! Are you willing to accept the challenge??!! xD Let's do it!

When I'm weak, You are strong!!
Man the air condition is getting worse everyday. (The sun was hot pink this evening) I heard that we might get evacuated next Thursday, not sure. Anyone knows how the fire started?? @__@" Man made? Too dry? Aiya... my allergy. T^T

Recently I dream a lot, however, I cannot seem to remember any of them clearly. Just bits and pieces that can't even make up a plot. I clearly remember from last night's dream, a little girl was asking me some questions regarding Jesus. I forgot what the questions were, but I know I was totally shocked at how mature, serious, and realistic the questions were. The Lord will rise up more and more kids and shine lights through them. They will be the lighthouse in the storms, which shines so brightly that people will be extremely amazed. Lord, guide me and teach me how I can help these kids in the right way to ignite their fire of passion for You and for the lost souls. Jesus I heart You!
Three midterms next week, great! I need strength and wisdom, Lord. Oh you know what? You students should all try to pray before studying, because it works! Ex. I was reading my marketing textbook and it didn't make sense to me. I stopped and prayed for the supernatural comprehension and concentration. It was just a short simple prayer and when I read the passage again, guess what? I understood everything right away! Woohoo! Nice huh?! xD So try it at home kids!!
Alrighty back to studying... and PRAY FOR THE FIRE & FIREFIGHTERS & PEOPLE INVOLVED IN THE FIRE(evacuated, lost their home, lost their family members/friends...etc)
Ps. There are wildfire burning just a few cities away from UCR, please pray for Riverside!! ><

Amazing Grace
My goodness, the air in Riverside is just so bad. It's filled with the smoke and dust from the fire in Malibu. My friend said she heard from the news that the fire is coming towards Riverside, and Alice just called and told me that Irvine is on fire too. What is happening!!! @_____@|||
Christine and Kenneth liked IMPACT very much. On the way back to Riverside, we encountered this crazy hurricane kinda wind/sand storm. My car was shifting from left to right, it was so hard to control and soooo scary! In the car, we were playing Jrock music (since Christine really loves Jrock, and i don't dislike it... xp). But, during the storm, Christine did something that amazed me. She turned off the music and said, "Let's be quiet for a moment". Then... she started to sing Christian songs!! From that moment on, we sang different songs to God until she arrived at her apartment. Before she did that I did not know what to do except praying (cause it was so scary), but what she did encouraged me so much. I was praying that God will let me see the way to cut in to her, to lead her to Christ, then through this experience it was like a light bulb of idea suddenly popped up. MUSIC!! This is the way to introduce Jesus to her, and no other better way!
Yesterday in our house church, Christine came as well. I was leading the worship and I decided to try something different for the group. Though this is not new for IMPACT, I was challenging and encouraging the crowd to sing freely to God in their own words. That was something new for many people, and God was just totally pouring out His Spirit on us. Christine sat next to me and she was singing louder than anyone else! I love the way God does things in a mysterious and miraculous way!! Yesterday's message was about the "perfect church" that the Bible describes. Diana, one of our leaders, talked about how we can do as individuals to impact our churches and unite everyone in the church as a ball. After the message, she led everyone into prayers and many people were crying, including me, during that time. She led many topics of prayers but the one that was really powerful was when she asked us to just praise God! Everyone started to pray loudly and just thank God for everything He has done and simply praise Him and adore Him. God's presence was so strong and I believe that Christine and Maria (the two new friends) were touched by God somehow. After the service, I stayed with Christine to tell her about the gospel and drew the salvation graph. Then two other leaders, including my roommate, went and talked to her more about their own personal encounter with God and taught her how to pray, what does it mean to be a Christian, who Jesus is...etc. Then at the end they prayed for her. I am just totally thankful of what God has done through us to Christine. I asked her to pray to God before she sleeps that God Himself will let her encounter Him in her dreams. (Thanks Jacko!) Though I haven't heard about her response yet, I believe God has already done great things and won this lost soul!! Hallelujah!
Ps. She wants to come again next Monday! xD YAY!! Praise Jesus!

Reminders for self
This is what i'm feeling right now - EMO!
How come every time i encounter things that doesn't go my way, I don't feel right. This is just my babbling ok? When I see my peers who are depressed, down, frustrated... I want to help them out in every way possible. I can't leave them by themselves without knowing what they're going through. It's just not right! I'm so mad at myself when I can't seem to be a bit of help for them. It's frustrating when the only thing I can do is pray for them. It is the "right" thing to do of course. However, I can't seem to be patient with God sometimes. How come God can't just do things and answer prayers right away? For example, how come my parents can't just accept God in a short period of time. I know that all my struggles of seeking God helped me a lot in my spiritual walk. I became stronger and have more faith in Him. Experienced Him a lot through all that i've been through. But... I just feel really frustrated when prayers are not answered right away!! Especially when those prayers are the ones that I know that God wants to answer. Such as the salvation of people.
Being the slave of God is cool with me because I love Him too much. He's my king my Lord. How can I repay Him at all? I've cried and shout hallelujah at the same time. I've cried and begged my mom for letting me go to church/cell group. I've cried for the salvation of my family and friends. I've cried for the backsliding of brothers and sisters in Christ. I've cried when I see people experiencing God tremendously and His glory overwhelms the place. Maybe you say i cry too much. Maybe, these tears actually are all gathered and remembered by God. In the Bible, it says God actually do that. I believe it because all my tears have become abundant fruits and rewards afterwards. I thank God for giving me a tender heart and a pair of eyes that don't get hydrated even after 3 hours of crying! Woe to Jesus! lol.
Sometimes when you feel so confident of your accomplishment, that end result might not be the one you expected it to be. Then what do you do?? Feel frustrated, try to find out what happened to the process of accomplishment, or don't look at all these and focus your eyesights on God? I don't know, the third one? But i have to be honest that I do all these three whenever I encounter things like these. Just like a while ago... I feel so confident that I got an A or a B on my midterm, but I ended up getting a C. That doesn't feel good. I don't even think that's the grade I should get because I thought the questions were so easy!! THIS IS NOT RIGHT!! >.< WWJD? Well, I guess that's what I deserve because I procrastinated and started to study 2 days before the exam. Even though I'm so sure I got a descent grade, I suppose I don't really deserve it because of my last minute habit. Anyways, it doesn't matter.
I love water rangers... Today Jason Ai went and he liked it. Woohoo! Today I talked about spiritual warfare with the kids. It is to their benefits that they understand this concept clearly and know the importance and how real it is. Today basically just worshiping and praying. Then we finished the front of the T-shirts. Right now our characters are...
Sarah - Shark Queen
Irene - Octopus
Jefferey - Sea Turtle
Jason - Sponge Bob
Lol, Jason is so cute! xD Next week we're making pumpkin crafts! It's gonna be fun and educational! Puahahahahha! xD
By the way, during the ministry meeting Annie said something that really inspired me. (well lots of things that were inspiring but this one i havn't really thought about) Which is... "leaders constantly read books!" Man, I don't read books = =" (except the Bible) I should start... thanks for reminding, Annie! <3

The Call
Wow.... The Call is tomorrow!!! The one that i've been expecting for so long!!! Is finally here!!! :D
However... we're not going anymore.
Of course frustration and disappointment fills right in but... at the end we realized it IS too exhausting and rushy. All of us agreed to pray and fast for the conference with them at our own pad. After all... prayers can be reached anywhere in the world. We don't have to be at a certain place to experience God or send prayers to the people there right? :)
Anyways... lately i've been going through weird feelings. I have no idea where they come from or how they got into me. It's weird. For example, I would just feel really nervous for the half of a day without any particular reason. It is really strange and I'm praying that God will give me a solution to this. Oh well... feelings, they just come and go... no big deal! right?
it's almost 2:30am and tmr... guess there's no guitar lesson so i can sleep in! yay! and in the afternoon, my favorite time..., Water Rangers gathering! :DDD Can't wait lahhhh~! Kz, good night all.

2nd meeting
Greetings! <-- (This is actually the first word Jesus said after He resurrected from the dead! :p) I'm glad to see that you guys giving me feedbacks, it encourages me to write more!
Anyways, the second meeting of W.R. was really fun. The kids were all prepared for the verse recital. (When I went into the house, Jeffrey literally grabbed me and did his recital eagerly.) They memorized the verse perfectly. Both English and Chinese! Aren't they awesome? ^____^ I'm so proud of them!!!
Though for the first two meetings there were only Irene and Jeffrey, I thought it was really fun and productive. The kids were encouraged to encounter God in a supernatural way. With many stories of kids prophets (I told them in simple English), the kids can get to learn some English. I'm more concerned about their personal relationship and growth in Christ than anything else. However, I'm also dedicated to strengthen their interest in learning math, English, geographic, history, sociology, and many other subjects through Bible stories. (We practiced math with the story of Noah.)
On Saturday we read Matthews chapter 18 and 19 where they talk about the children and the kingdom of heaven. They were excited about learning how to do Matthew 10:8, and to get closer to God. Hum, city invasion sounds like a good idea to me. Hehe.
**I can't believe I forgot one important thing on Saturday.... PRAY BEFORE AND AFTER FELLOWSHIP! O___O" Uh oh... Jesus please forgive me!!**
I found this website that contains a lot of children prophets' testimonies. You guys should totally check it out, the stories will blow you away!! (Click "Insight and Info", then click "Peewee Prophets")
http://www.kidsinministry.com/
(It is actually the official website for the kids ministry that filmed "Jesus Camp")
Oh!! I found out that it is important to pray "with" the kids to build their habit of praying. So in the future they will have this instinct to pray for anything they encounter. :)
Alrighty, I can't stop typing when I'm talking about the kids... I shall get back to my studies and blog another time :) SEE YA'LL!

The beginning of an exciting journey...
I'm very excited to talk about this... :)
On 10/06/07, my new cell group just started... WATER RANGERS!!
W.R. is basically consists of children from age 6 - 13.
It is every Saturday 1:30 - 3:00pm
My goal is to see these kids build a intimate personal relationship with God, love God wholeheartedly, walk in His power, and be able to preach the Good News.
I believe that kids are the group of people that delights God, just for their simple faith in Him.
In Matthew 18:3 Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven."
I know that because of their simplicity, they can walk in power and receive revelation and spirit of wisdom from God. We shall not "hinder" them from getting equipped because... Jesus just said it too many times in His Words. lol. ;p
Matthew 19:14
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
Mark 10:14
When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."
Luke 18:16
But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."
Well? Isn't that something? :)
Preview for this week:

-Topic: "Jesus is my superhero"
