Mom doesn't need surgery anymore!!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! MY MOM DOESN'T NEED TO HAVE SURGERY ANYMORE!!!!

If you didn't know, a month ago she was found with two cysts, which was the size of two fists, on her ovary. The second time she went to get checked up, the doctor only saw one cyst, which was the size of 5cm x 5cm. That was at around the beginning of June. Just this morning, she went to get a check-up again right before she was gonna have the surgery on the 9th. (Because of the testimony I told her about the guy whose shoulder had torn ligament, did the surgery without having one last check-up before it, and doctor told him he didn't need the surgery after all. My mom didn't want to have unnecessary surgeries. Ha!) Guess what happened?? The cyst has now shrunk to 4.4cm x 3.5cm!!! The doctor said she doesn't need surgery anymore, but medication now!! Woohooo!!! Jesus You rock!! Me and my sisters have been praying hard these few days. Every day we would be like... "9 days left until surgery, Jesus, work Your miracles!! You can burn off that cyst completely. Heal mommy completely in just one second!"... "8 days left, Jesus, work Your miracles!!...." Even this morning we were praying for her, with Psalm 91.
I'm sure mommy's faith has been boosted up so much. She said she was praising the Lord the entire day!! Lord, Your timing is always perfect. Your faithfulness is our shield, our rampart. =)

I love You Lord!

Please keep praying for my mom, prayer warriors!!

You wanna see crazy healing happening to people around you?
Start praying and expect prayers to be completely answered!! >:D

A Morning at IHOP

Took Jennifer to breakfast for her 18TH BIRTHDAY!! Yeah IHOP! The interesting thing is, right after we sit down, there's been people on crutches, walkers, casts, passing us by one after another. My goodness! What's up with injured peeps and IHOP? lol. So then me, Alice, and Jennifer get to pray for at least one person. Even though no one really got healed right away after our prayers, our faith was boosted and encouraged.

This guy with cast on his left feet and walking with crutches passed me by, I got up right away and asked him what happened to his feet. He said he broke it. I asked him if I could pray for him, he said sure go ahead. It was a super short prayer, about 15 seconds, because they had to leave. However, after I went back to my seat, that guy's mom came up to me and thanked me. At first I was only focusing on the "not healed" part of the process, but after Alice and Jennifer's encouragement, that God's target for me might not be that injured guy but his mom. By seeing other God lovers sharing the love and believing something will happen by faith, it encourages her faith to grow and heart touched by God's love. I'm so thankful to have these sisters around. They are so awesome! <3 ^________^

Jesus Culture OC

If you have read my previous post you would know my spiritual status prior to this OC trip. My one and only purpose was to gain my passion back, and God wonderfully gave it back to me.

It was a pretty rushed decision to go, because of another last minute decision of not attending the Supernatural Worship Training at Bethel. Even though many things didn't go my way, such as, didn't get to register cause it's full, didn't get a wristband to get inside, had to shower standing on bare floor with no bathtub...etc, God managed to pull me out of every single circumstances. (Except the last one, let's just say it's a small persecution.)

Jennifer, Shinny, Andy, Eric, Alice, Tiffa, George, Sam, Howard, and I were there from the first day. Perfect balance of 5 girls 5 guys. On the first night, Kim Walker was leading the worship and Benny was preaching on Isaiah 6. He talked about letting your pride die, just like King Uzziah died. "What is the King Uzziah in your life?" For me, I definitely have some pride issue to deal with, and I am letting God fix me and continue to mold me. He also shared about worship. "The Lord's voice can be heard when you immerse yourself in worship. Worship lift Jesus up, and when we lift Him up higher and higher, even angels will cover their faces from His glory." I love it. I want to lead worship that lift Jesus up higher and higher every time!! The second day Banning L. preached also on Isaiah 6. What a coincidence... I think not! Banning said, "Before God send people out, He always sanctify them first." Holy is not complete until you're set apart!! Step 1: Separate from sin. Step 2: Set completely apart under God. Holiness is attractive to the spirit, but deadly to flesh. Holiness is the result of encountering God. (Good words eh?) I really learned a lot about "spirit man" during this conference. Mostly from Banning's teaching. A long time ago, someone told me that our spirit and our flesh are actually two different things and can be separated. I couldn't understand it because I've never really experienced separation of flesh and spirit, except that one time when I was awaken from slumber by my own spirit's prayer. During the pastoral meeting, Banning talked about how when we preach to people who are pretty passive, we preach to their spirit and not their flesh. The spirit is always hungry and longing for more of God, the spirit is made to worship, the spirit is made to have a love relationship with Jesus. So we preach according to how the "spirits" are, and see them as hungry worshipers who love Jesus with all of their hearts! Be able to see with the eyes of faith! I've been reading "When Heaven Invades Earth" by Bill Johnson, and it talks about the eyes of faith a lot. (I'm reading the children version) This phrase has been stuck in my head these days, "Faith eyes see a person on a wheelchair standing up running and jumping. They see from the Kingdom's perspective." In the afternoon, Loni McIntosh once again touched on this part, she said, "We need to pray from the Kingdom's perspective and not the earth's perspective!" She also said something that expanded my horizon. "When you breakthrough heaven, you'll open heaven for people around you!" I get so encouraged when I hear these words. Wow I didn't know that!! When we went to city invasion, we led a high school kid, James, to Christ. It's my #6 this year! Woohoo~~ Keep them fishes coming, Lord!! To tell the truth, I've been unable to hear from God or to see pictures for a while now, and I really don't like it. However, just last night, Tiffa couldn't find her cell phone and she totally forgot where she put it. I went to my room and started to pray for her, then i saw her phone on the passenger seat, and the color of the seat was gray. After I prayed, Tiffa came into the room and told me that she found out where her phone was. It was on Yusuke's car's front seat, and his car seats are gray!!! I was so encouraged and felt so loved by God. Whew, You still wants to talk to me and show me pictures. I'm relieved. Haha. I got my passion back, and I know that I cannot depend on conferences to boost up my fire. Just like Eric said, "If the Holy Spirit is the living water, and the Word is the bread, then if you only feed on the Holy Spirit and not the Words, you are on a spiritual fasting! That's why when you finally get some Words you think they're so good, because your spirit was starving for bread." TOTALLY AWESOME WORDS! And I realized I've been fasting spiritually for a few weeks now... and I'm hungry!! Bread... here I come.......

Ps. Right now I really want some fish tacos... Those at Islands were yummy!

Passion for Christ

Recently feeling like I've lost all passion for anything...
Music, dancing, crafting, singing, even eating...
I can't understand why or how that this happened.
Most of all, I've lost my passion for Jesus.

Wept in the car yesterday while driving home.
I said to Jesus, "I can lose my passions for everything else, but I don't ever want to lose my passion for You."

Tina pointed at someone's house and said, "Look! It says Jesus!"
Sure enough, there was this huge JESUS arranged by a bunch of Christmas lights on their window.
Suddenly it hit me... JESUS IS COMING BACK!!
That aimless and purposeless feeling of having no direction or center in life suddenly disbursed.
That's right. He is still there loving me, no matter how weak my love is for Him...
He once again reminded me of our engagement. I felt the ring on my finger and my tears streamed down...
I know for sure, that only He can bring me back to Him...

This song has nothing to do with anything... but it's just been stuck in my head and I love it.

On My Own
And now I'm all alone again
Nowhere to turn, no one to go to.
Without a home, without a friend
without a face to say hello to
But now the night is near
And I can make-believe he's here

Sometimes I walk alone at night
When everybody else is sleeping
I think of him and then I'm happy
With the company I'm keeping
The city goes to bed
And I can live inside my head

On my own
Pretending he's beside me
All alone
I walk with him 'til morning
Without him, I feel his arms around me
And when I lose my way, I close my eyes and he has found me

In the rain
The pavement shines like silver
All the lights are misty in the river
In the darkness, the trees are full of starlight
And all I see is him and me forever and forever

And I know it's only in my mind
That I'm talking to myself and not to him
And although I know that he is blind
Still I say there's a way for us

I love him
But when the night is over
He is gone
The river's just a river
Without him, the world around me changes
The trees are bare and everywhere the streets are full of strangers

I love him
But every day I'm lonely
All my life I've only been pretending
Without me, his world will go on turning
The world is full of happiness that I have never known

I love him
I love him
I love him...
But only on my own...

I don't "HOPE" anymore... I "KNOW"!

Many things happened in this last week...

A brother finally decided he's going to follow Jesus wholeheartedly after, oh I don't know, more than a year of coming to House Church. He used to say, "I hope I can have a relationship with God." But that night after we prayed for him, in his ending prayer he said, "I don't HOPE anymore, I KNOW now that I can have a relationship with Jesus. Words cannot describe how thankful I am right now to have these sisters and brothers around, to lead me and lift me up." I was so thankful. Seriously, no matter how many words you say to one person, you can never change their hearts and touch them like God can. The Lord is faithful to the end. Keep praying for your non-believer friends, one day God's timing will come and they will be changed just like this brother did! :)

Yesterday, a friend of mine came to eat lunch with me at my apartment. We were just chatting about random things when he said, "Hey Sarah, tell me the Jesus story." Note, he's a non-believer and doesn't really believe that God exists. I was overjoyed. During the conversation I can see that he is interested but still wants to explain the supernatural things with science, philosophy, and worldly knowledge. He said, "I guess if I really encountered something miraculous then I will have to believe that He is real." Taught him how to pray and encouraged him to ask God to reveal Himself to him. God, crack this heart of stone!! I praise You for giving me this opportunity to share about You. You are awesome!

Finished two finals, one more to go on Friday! I am exhausted... didn't sleep last night. I'm so glad the last one is super easy! Open notes/book too! Can't wait for my summer break to begin. >< This weekend, the whole family is gonna go have some fun, so you guys won't see us this weekend. Daddy is leaving on Monday, I'm sad but also glad that everything is laid out perfectly. On Tuesday I go to Redding for one month... I didn't receive the confirmation that I got into the worship school yet, but I assume I did. Hahaha. I am IN! In Jesus' Name! xD Anyway, need to schedule an interview with K.W.'s boss this week. Hopefully I can go in tomorrow or Thursday, so I can have everything done before I go off. Lord let me get that internship!!

Last night was pretty emotional. When Karen, Brian, and I were chatting in my room, Ruth brought in three bags of gifts/cards for us. The date/month square thing represents the good times we've spent with each others. The Photo clips represents the good memories. We were all reading the cards and had tears in our eyes. Ruth I love you!!! You are definitely one of a kind. I can't imagine what's it gonna be like on Friday after graduation... sniff sniff* Seniors don't leave! Don't go! I'll miss you all like crazy... ><

LOVE TO GTM 07-08!! W00T!! W00T!!
