Children Summer Camp - Part I

Finally, the summer camp is over!! Here are some highlights and pictures from the camp…
I’m gonna update this in three parts…

[First Day]

We arrived and started decorating the entire meeting room into a royal castle. There were banners from our last Christmas party that say “LOVE”, “PEACE”, “FAITH” and “HOPE”. We also put up six silver flags with golden lion on each of them. Four on the wall and two became the drapes of the entrance. We also put up that big WELCOME sign with a golden lion on each side at the very front of the room. It was fantastic!!

We introduced the camp and passed out neon orange and lime green drawstring bags to everyone and played ice break games.

Every one loved the bags, which had a water gun, a notebook, a pen, a colorful highlighter and a welcome card in them. Lauren said, “The water guns are definitely a highlight of this camp!” Seriously everyone was having so much fun with it.

Then Jeffrey, Irene, Enoch and Tina performed a skit, “Once Upon a Time”, which described the plot of the royal mission. The story talks about how Jesus’ children were deceived by the evil witch and traded their identities with her evil cookies that made the children forget who they were. The King had to explain to the children all over again who they were and put them on a royal mission to relearn and regain all their powers and knowledge in order to get the key to go back to the Kingdom. They did a wonderful job. Jeffrey was so superb at acting!! Wow! We did record the entire skit so we can edit it and show it to you guys! =) They were split into teams of 4 or 5, and their names were “God is Good!” “Royal Knights” and “Lifesavers”. Leader for the teams were: Jeffrey M, Victor T and Danny W. They were awesome leaders and learning to become the best! One trick I learned to use the most to get the children back in the meeting room was to shout, “Whichever team gets back and sit in a straight line the fastest wins!!” They would all RUN back and sit down straight in a line like a wind. I loved their competitiveness! Haha! We walked around the campsite afterwards, and then when we reached the volleyball court, we started the game of boys against girls! I think the game lasted longer than an hour or something. The scores were super close towards the end, but at last the GIRLS WON!! Yeah! Beat that!! I have to say that Mikey T was extremely impressive. He would stand beyond the lines of his side of the field and serve, and the ball would fly to the end of the other side. Crazy Mongolian!

After dinner, before we had our worship, I got four volunteers to get the tambourine, the egg, the black shaker and the wood shaker. Had them stand in four corners and then I had everyone else started clapping in a steady beat together. Then I added the four instruments in one by one… With the sounds of different rhythms, we started chanting “Jesus!! Jesus!! Holy Spirit!! Holy Spirit!! Come here now!! Come here now!! Hallelujah!! Hallelujah!!” It was pretty cool! (That idea was spontaneous and fun! ^^) I told the children that Jesus is here in the room already!! They were like, “Really?? He is here now??” Then we started to worship, at one moment I had just the voice sing “Here I am to Worship”. Seth shared later that as soon as I did that, the atmosphere in the room was suddenly changed. Everyone’s attention was switched to God right at that moment. It was powerful! Seth talked about being “incredible” after worship. He showed many parts from that movie to illustrate his points. Very well received!! We learned that many times people don’t like our real identity, which is being incredible, and many times people will try to hurt us if we do try. However, because it’s in our blood, we must protect our identity and learn to practice using our powers all the time! Everybody soaked at the end. Many people saw a light and Jesus... =)

Mikey: “Tsogt” (Pronounced in Mongolian)

Victor: (Shakes his head) “Just say ‘Tsogt’ (Pronounced in English), only Mongolians know how to say it.”

Sarah: “It’s like when the Incredibles put on their black eye masks, their real identities were revealed.”

Connar: (Raised his hand super high) “I know! It’s just like putting on goggles before swimming!”

Sarah: “No shooting in the eyes!!!”

Connar: “You can shoot my eyes! I have my sunglasses on!”

Today Tina got into a car accident and went to the hospital. Just last night, Enoch, Tina and I were working for a long time on the remaining details and miscellaneous things for the camp. After this incident happened, I realized that we are not aware of the enormous impact our little camp is gonna bring, and how much the enemy wants to distract and destruct everything.

I was crying in the prayer room, crying in the car while driving back home... I felt like I'm not connected to Jesus. I would give up anything to pursue that connection... like, I will be able to hear His voice and message so clearly so co-working with the Holy Spirit would be so easy. Need to wait upon Him longer... pray and worship longer... get more daily bread and living water... I'm not stressed anymore, thank God. However, I'm not relaxed either. Time to go back to work.

God called my name!!

Before Water Ranger today, I was calling people and then found out many aren't coming and a few don't want to come because they felt it was boring. Little discouraged, went weeping before the Lord. Asked for wisdom, guidance, and creativity to lead these children to encounter Him. I don't want to hinder the children from going to You, Lord. I don't know how to teach them, won't You give me the anointing of a teacher. My heart aches for their salvation and encounters with You, Lord. All I can do is call upon Your Name because I don't know how to pray in words nor spirit anymore...

Danny, Chris, Jeffrey, Rebecca, and Derek are the only ones who came today. I was playing theCall DC live from GodTV on projector screen. Explained how important this is to each and everyone who lives in America. How important it is to cry out to God for this land this nation. Sitting on the floor with the children, I started playing guitar and lead the children into prayer and worship. Soon, everyone, including Derek, who was playing around the keyboard, came and started to pray and worship Jesus. I had the kids yell out "JESUS!!!" as loud as they can, and ask God to show up, ask Him to fill them up! After a while of worshipping and crying out, I told them all to close their eyes and listen very carefully because God's gonna speak to them. Could be words, feelings, pictures, smells, or even tastes. It would be a still small voice so be still and wait upon Him. After a while I asked them to all sit up and I asked them what they got.

4 out of 5 children were touched by God. How awesome is that?? Just because of this, I'll keep praying before each cell group. Come before Him and weep + rejoice for these precious children. God You are good!!

Then 3 children and their dad came inside the room. Hydie, Hazel and Joshua. The dad found IMPACT and called last month to ask about our children ministry. Today he took them here and I think they all liked it. We played ice break games after they came in, and seriously it's so easy to break ice within children. Then they all quiet down to watch theCall (the whole time it was playing) and I started explaining to them about the ending of abortion and other sins that are flooding America with dirty blood that can only be washed away by Jesus' blood. If we don't cry out, we don't know how God's gonna destroy this nation. However, God is good and full of mercy so there's still time for us to turn back to Him!! Started sharing about signs and wonders, healing, heaven visitation, and hell visitation with Hazel. Their family has been Christians for generations, but these children never really encountered Jesus.

Hazel and Danny shared with me about their dreams.

Hazel: I saw myself in California, and it was during the 7 years of tribulation. People with marks on them are chasing after us. Everywhere was covered in mist, and we saw this boat/ship that will take us to this place where we're supposed to go. There are lots of good people there. I think it's heaven.

Danny: I dreamed about 七爺八爺. They were so real I woke up in fear.

Later took Jeffrey and Chris to eat, and they shared how they really like it today. Jeffrey was the loudest when we were crying out God's Name. He's so excited and so joyful that God called his name. I told him that God would call the names of specific people when He is gonna use them greatly! Ex. Abraham, Moses, Noah...etc. Chris shared how he wants to become a chef and also be a minister in the future. Jeffrey wants to become an accountant and also serve God at the same time. Encouraged them to dream big, have big faith, and also big action! God will do big things!

Ps. 10 days count down for summer camp. It's getting more intense now.

Speechless

God is full of mercy and grace. Though He gets angry sometimes, He is still 100% love + 100% good.

Yes, I know all that. However, the whole day today I was thinking about how God's gonna punish me for saying those horrible things yesterday. But, like I said... He is 100% GOOD! So, guess what? He provided Tiffa and her mama to help me at downtown using their connections with all the store managers. I bought 24 water guns, 24 colorful highlighters for Bible, 19 notebooks and 24 ring bags for only $16 bucks!!! Can you believe that? God is our super duper provision!!! (I don't want to say that ONLY when He provides, and I mean it! Cause He always is!) Didn't pay much for parking because the timer broke down. (I'm not gonna tell you how it broke down.) So basically I get to park there the whole day for only 50 cent. At this point, I'm still worrying about how God's gonna allow Satan to hurt me. (How stupid. = =)

Until I hit prayer room. The first time I did was knelt down before Him, repent and ask for purification of my soul, spirit, heart, mind and body. It wasn't long till my tears started to fall uncontrollably. I felt so dirty and unclean inside, because my lips have blasphemed. That's why I was praying for purification, because I felt like I was worthless to bring my prayers before Him when I'm still so full of earthly filth. Then, Luke Wood started singing this song as I was praying...

This is exactly what I wanted to say to Jesus... That is exactly what I want to become... I will be a living sanctuary for You! Yes, He does know my weakness, and He knows exactly how to strengthen me and pull me out of the fire. Afterwards, He showed me Zachariah 3. It's a vision that God showed Zachariah. Joshua and satan are standing together, and satan was ready to accuse and beat down Joshua with his lies and schemes. However, Jesus said to satan, "satan, you are wrong. Jerusalem is my chosen city, and this man was RESCUED like a stick from a flaming fire." Then, Jesus asked the angels to take off Joshua's filthy clothes. He said to Joshua, "This means you are FORGIVEN. Now I will dress you in priestly clothes." After this, in verse 6 it says, "the angels ENCOURAGED Joshua by telling him the Lord's promises for him." Here are the promises...
1. If you truly obey me, I will put you in charge of my temple, including the courtyard around it, and you will be allowed to speak at any time with the angels standing beside me.
2. You are a sign of things to come, because I am going to bring back my servant, the Chosen King.
3. I have placed in front of you a stone with seven sides. I will engrave something on that stone, and in a single day I will forgive this guilty country.
4. Then each of you will live at peace and entertain your friends in your own vineyard and under your own fig trees.

I see this as God speaking to me, and these promises that He told Joshua is the same that He is telling me. It's pretty crazy if you read the promises carefully. C'mon! In 24 hours God will turn this sinful country into a peaceful and enjoyable country for His people! I was looking at all these homeless people on the streets of LA Downtown and my heart aches like crazy. I have this super urge to start a healing revival right there!! Imagine, thousands and millions of homeless people gather together in His Name! Witnessing His glory!! What's gonna happen to LA? Who said revival can't start with homeless, poor or weak people!!?? But, I know I should focus on children right now. Homeless ministry/revival.... C'mon, anyone wants to start?? Anyone??!!

When I got home, mom said, "Sarah, haven't seen your smile for a long time now. You must be very stressed." I couldn't smile. I am stressed, and I was praying even in the car for God to take away the stress. Then just as I was about to take a shower, I realized I got GOLD DUST all over my palms, arms all the way to my shoulders, my face and my neck. I ran and showed mom and Amy. It's mom's first time seeing gold dust, and she was trying to get some off my palms. Haha. I laughed. God You know how to make me happy. =) I think only You can make me joyful at this point. I love You. Thank You. <3
