Month of Love

I should update before Feb. ends...

Basically the first half of this month is to prepare for Love Tent. Really didn't felt that people are as united and fired up to gather and pray for our campus this year. Last year there was so much more unity, and everything went miraculously smooth. Woohoo praise God! This year, didn't get amplify sound approved, didn't get overnight permit, was raining, even cops came by... but still praise God! Talking to Eddie Brown and told him our "hardship", he said, "That's good, it means God trusts you guys more and you can face bigger challenges now!" Amen to that! Because even though all these things happened, Love Tent still happened successfully!! Hallelujah! :D

NEWS FLASH!!!
CSULB is doing Love Tent too!!
Feb 26-27 @ 7am-11pm 40hr straight!!

Recently I've been practicing guitar/keyboard more often now, simply because I want to worship Him. My heart is just pulled to do so, which is perfectly normal for lovers of God right? =) I love Jesus and Jesus loves me. I can feel His love 24/7 again, I'm so happy! Feb. has been pretty rad so far...
  1. My Deborah took me to a cemetery in the middle of the night, as we were walking there I had complete peace over me. Also, there was a mental hospital right next to it. We went there because I needed to use the restroom, and then we saw some demonic children. A 2 year old girl glared at her, it was pretty creepy. We should go back and cast some demons out next time! Haha!
  2. Went to RHOP during Valentine's Day for their night service (the night when they started their 24/7 prayer/worhip chain!) and encountered drinking fire from heaven for the first time!! I could literally feel fire flowing right in front of me and I can just scoop it up w/ my hands and drink it!! Prophetic drawings/sculptures/products are portals of heaven and earth, it can bring healing, encounters of God and touch of Holy Spirit. I felt fire dripping on my hand by just touching a drawing, my friend got healed from her sore throat by doing the same thing!
  3. Preached and testified what happened at RHOP to GTM (my cell group at UCR), and we tried it out. It was about 7 or 8 people who came and all of us were touched by the Holy Spirit! I was totally drunk in the Spirit, just by drawing and standing on some pictures others drew! I felt electricity running through my finger tips and it almost felt like I can just play w/ the electricity between my fingers! Ha! Prayed for a girl who's never encountered such manifestation of the Holy Spirit, she touched the drawing as we prayed for her, she felt vibration and electricity shocks on her hands! Her body was heated up too! A guy who has problem dealing w/ fear got delivered and after prayer he's filled w/ peace! Praise God! We all drew pictures and we could find verses that match w/ each picture! Craziness. There were connectiong between all of our spirits and God's Spirit, it was so crazy... We only played worship songs w/ laptop and drew prophetic art, and God brought a Holy explosion in the room! LOL! Sweeet!!
  4. Teriyaki Bowl's boss got healed! (I work there, so he's my boss) He said 10 years ago his doctor told him he has cyst in his pancrea (胰臟), and it could grow into cancer cell. He didn't check it within this decade and two weeks ago he started to have sever pain several times a day. It was bad for him because he just canceled his health insurance because he thought he was pretty healthy and wanted to save some bucks. If he were to have surgery it would cost him tens of thousands now. Before he went to get a check-up, I prayed for him and told him to trust God because He loves and He heals! Later in the week I asked him how was the result, he said, "The result from blood test and x-ray showed that my pancrea is completely clean and healthy w/ no problem at all!" C'mon praise God for He is super faithful!!
  5. .... MORE TO COME.... "GodSpeak Conference @ UCR" "Love Tent CSULB" "ReCall - Elijah Revolution"... etc. =D
Randy Clark's so full of fire... I love fire.

Let Go!

For a long time... I've always refuse to believe that God can speak through my parents. Maybe it's because I felt that they're not on the same side as I am, the God side. Whatever they suggested or told me to do, I would feel that it's not what God want me to do. My brain just automatically kicks these comments into the trash can. But recently, I've been thinking... God speaks through people, He surely can speak through my parents even though they didn't love Him. I'm guessing I started to think this way because I'm so desperate to know what God wants me to do after graduating from college that I'm willing to listen to anything that's thrown at me. Grrr. Mom's been telling me to go get an auditor license... Humm maybe it's from God... x__X

Today I was DEEPLY TROUBLED. I don't know how else to describe this mixture of feelings. Sigh. Senioritis? I couldn't calm down. Couldn't flatten the hills between my eyebrows caused by frustration and worrisome. GOD I NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU!!! GIMME DIRECTION!!!

Esther! It's No Time to Stay Silent!

During the first week of this quarter, which is also the beginning of 2009. I asked the Lord one night before I sleep, "Lord, which book do you want me to read tonight?" He said, "Esther." I flipped it open and started reading it, and was done in an hour or so. The message to me was, "If you stayed silent when you're placed at the exact time and location to speak, you missed a chance of God using you to bring an impact that could be as huge as saving an entire country! God knows what He's doing and we usually don't so we better listen and obey no matter how silly or dangerous it is."

Monday night of second week, after UCR MGM (yes we have MGM too.) a few leaders were talking about knowing the season and timing of God's move or wave and partnering with Him. They said, "It takes a prophetic voice to open the eyes of others to see the timing and the moment to strike or hold defense at war. It has to be someone who's outside of ministry leadership position who has the availability of time for this."

Then Luke 18 people came on Tuesday night, they basically told me the same message. "Voice in the wilderness" was preached as being a prophetic voice that calls out in the time of confusion and chaos to lead the way and show the path of the Lord.

On Wed. night during my lecture, I saw a vision of me preaching at belltower at night on a stage. So many people were there and I was preaching radically about the urgency of the hour and that there is no more time for us to stay silent and wondering about. You'd think there's still more time to "think about it" or trying to save face. The fact is. There is no more time! The Kingdom is quickly advancing and will soon come. For those who have no oil, the days will be like the most terrible nightmare ever. Imagine your classmates, family, friends, others you know burned by fire, consumed by sickness and diseases, tortured with natural disaster and evil spirits that they wish they're dead than being alive. We should all burn our pride and selfishness into ashes. Will you take the call of being a forerunner of this generation and GO for Him at all costs?

I've been asking God, "What is it that You want me to not stay silent about?" I realized later it's a stupid question. Duh! What else??

I'll be casting this vision to the leaders and also interceed for them as hard as I possibly can. Leading them to evangelize and preach the Good News to the poor, to the homosexual, to the random people walking by, to the classmates, to the professors, to the genitors, to the waitress, to the strangers on the bus...etc. They MUST get the urgency!!!

Ps. Pray for Love Tent UCR. Feb 12-13 8am - 12am. 40hours. Will have meeting w/ different departments again because the school is getting more stricted to give overnight permits. Might turn this into a 40hours TheCall Riverside at the huge baseball park next to school... Just a thought.

Luke 18 Visitation

Tonight Peter Glen and Brian K. from Luke 18 and CCN came to meet with a few of us. They shared w/ us about what's happening in UCLA right now and we shared w/ them about our campus' spiritual status and trend. It was encouraging to see them going to different UCs and mobilize prayer meetings with the central vision of Luke 18. Go to their website if you wanna know more. Brian said, "To have a powerful and effective intercession, you need to not only enjoy God but let Him enjoy you." That was powerful. Peter taught me to seek 3 types of people when looking to build the next leadership team. 1. worship anointing 2. breakthrough anointing 3. prophetic anointing. Also, there's another group who have the passion but not yet discovered their gifts. (Just like me when I first came to UCR). It was a valuable time fellowshiping and praying with these comrades. During prayers for me, these are the words/visions I received from people... I was so encouraged.

Prayer: You are like Esther and Joshua. (Last week I just finished these two books!) You are to fast and pray. It is not the time to stay silent, but let your voice out. You have the courage and faithfulness that God sees, and He is cheering you on because you are not done yet.

Vision 1
: A beaming big heart intertwined by eggplants vines in between the earth and heaven with dews from heaven all over the vines. Small eggplants started forming around the big one and their vines were connected. Very soon, many many of them formed and formed a matrix kind of connection web all with the big center heart eggplant. I am the big heart and I'm not content to see these other ones growing so small, and I want them to grow to the fullest like me. So I started feed them nutrition and so all of them grew as big as me.

Vision 2: I'm standing on earth, pulling rope to draw water from heaven down so I can drink it. I didn't get tired of it for I was so thirsty for it and that's all I wanted and craved to have. My arms grew bigger and stronger so I can pull down the water quicker and easier. There were a whole entire field of people waiting to drink the water and I passed the bucket to people and they all drank it.

Vision 3: I'm playing huge drums between heaven and earth. The music created was not an earthly sound and when people heard the drum beat, their ears were opened and their beings were entirely changed.

Vision 4: I'm standing on earth waving at God. God looked down through the galaxy onto earth and saw me waving at Him. I was then swimming in the stream that's flowing between heaven and earth and I started swimming faster and faster. Wherever I swam, God's Spirit was flowing. Something about music, I forgot. God hears my prayers and sees what I'm doing. What I've been doing was not done in vain. He knows.

Amazing... God You always know how to encourage and stirr me up. You made my night. =)

Lord, Break me!

On Sunday night after I got back to Riverside I received a text msg from one of our leaders, Daniel, saying we got a prayer meeting at 11pm. Me and Ruth went and the first word I heard right after I got in the door was somebody shouting "HALLELUJAH!!" I didn't know who it was cause the voice didn't sound familiar, so I looked and found out it was a guy sitting on a wheelchair who shouted it. His name is Alan, he met Daniel at the gym while watching basketball games and he was trying to evangelize to Daniel and his roommate. The reason Alan is on the wheelchair is not because of any injury, but due to infantile paralysis (小兒麻痺) which caused him trouble in speaking, walking and doing other things. When he speaks he would need to use his whole body's strength to get some of the words out, and his face would twitch. But, I was so encouraged by him because he does not see his disability as a blockage towards spreading the good news, praying for others, reaching out to the lost souls or praising God as loud as he could. When Daniel asked him to pray for us to start the meeting off, 90% of his prayer was filled with words of praise and gratitude towards God. He started sharing about the necessity for the body of Christ to be awaken to receive the urgency of the hour to spread the Gospel to anyone we encounter on a daily basis. He asked us, "How many of you are hungry for souls?" There is no more time left because Jesus is coming soon. Too soon as Anthony puts it. I started balling in repentance when we all started praying together for ourselves and others. If a guy like Alan, who doesn't even have the ability to put a jacket on by himself, can have the boldness, obedience, and love to reach out to the lost souls, what the heck am I doing? So encouraged by him.

This morning I woke up and I prayed, "Lord let me get a soul into Your Kingdom today". After class, I walked by a girl sitting on the stairs and I had such a strong conviction to go tell her about the Lord, but I didn't. I was walking pass her and I really wanted to turn around and talk to her but I just walked slower and slower and never turned back. Grrrr.... While I was walking away, Daniel's prayer rang in my head, "The blood for those we didn't preach the good news to are on our hands." When I was driving my roommate to her class, the radio station was playing this song "Empty Me". It's exactly what I needed to pray for and I believe God is trying to tell me a message about it. I went home and prayed the prayer I was so afraid to pray for 2 or 3 years. "Lord, break me so You can reshape me into the vessel You delight."

I used to pray this prayer everyday in Freshmen year, and the Lord was faithful. So many things happened to me I can't even describe all of it in an hour, but I was really broken and He did reshape me in an super amazing way. I don't regret what happened but I was afraid to encounter those things or even worse things. However, now I believe it's time for the Lord to break me once again. I know He is good all the time so I'm ready Lord. Let it come.

Empty Me - Chris Sligh
